Steph...you were definitely a unique and special spirit . I will always remember calling you in my office to show you something I found on Facebook and laughing together and then you saying "have you seen this..." and then going to your computer and watching it. As I am writing this outside Sleuths...the song "Free Bird" is playing in some cab. Although I would rather have you here...a bird should not be caged! Fly free my sweet friend! Love you forever my friend.
One of the sweetest, kindest, purest souls (neshama) I've met...this beautiful child was kind, sweet and a genuine, connected friend to my daughter, who will miss her immensely. Having been in a play with Steph (z'l) I'll always recall her talent, beautiful blue eyes and her angelic voice and spirit which lifted us all, at each and every rehearsal & performance.... Rest in peace, dear...you touched SO many lives during your life. See...your memory is a blessing and will be for many years to come..
Though I didn't personally know Stephanie I worked with her mother for many years and know how deeply loved she was. My heart hurts knowing that she is no longer here but the most important parts of her will always live on the the hearts of many. Praying that the Lord provide peace where there is turmoil, hope where there is hopelessness. Comfort where there is pain. Love Renee.
Aww, Steph. If you could only see how many tears are being shed for you. I was so happy to see how excited you were about your new "80's" hairstyle. It was absolutely adorable on you. You were beautiful both inside and out. I hope you realized just how special you were to us. You touched all of our hearts and will be remembered forever. Your mom wants us to smile to the heavens when we think about you. It's hard to smile now, but in time, I'm sure the thought of you will bring lots of smiles. Love you. Rest peacefully.
Words cannot express the sorrow that I feel for your family. Stephanie was a wonderful young lady that shared the love she had for life with all she knew. Her brilliant mind made conversations with her intriguing and interesting. I pray she rests peacefully in the arms of God.
There are students you never forget, Stephanie you were one of them. Rest in Peace Angel and know that you will always be in my memories!

I am very saddened by this loss and wish peace to Steph's immediate family at this time.
There are those rare people in your life who leave a permanent impression, who make you feel like a better person for having gotten to know them. Stephanie was one of those people, a creative, passionate soul who inspired me in my own writing, who lifted my spirits and challenged my perspectives. I hope her plays continue to be produced and that her words continue to be read. I know she will live on in the hearts and minds of so many of us. I will never forget you, Stephanie, and I will forever be grateful for the years of friendship, alas too few, that we enjoyed. Thank you for being a light and comfort in my life. Know peace and comfort now.
