MONROE TOWNSHIP - MURRAY BRANDSTEIN passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019, at his residence in Monroe Township. He was 91.

Born in Manhattan, NY, he resided in Brooklyn, NY and Westfield, NJ before moving to Monroe Township 34 years ago.

Prior to retiring in 1983, he was a chemist with the V.A. Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY.

He served in the Army both active duty and reserves for 32 years before retiring with the rank of Colonel.

Murray was predeceased by his wife, Ruth (Greenspan) Brandstein in 2017, and his son, Paul Brandstein in 1982.

Surviving are his daughter, Linda Selingo, and her husband, Joseph, of East Brunswick; a son, Mark Brandstein, and his wife, Fern, of Newton, MA; his sister, Claire Cohen of Cherry Hill, and five grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 10, at 11:45 AM in B'Nai Abraham Memorial Park, Union, under the direction of MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, Cranbury Road at Evergreen Blvd, East Brunswick. For directions, please visit our "Services" page.
