MONROE TOWNSHIP - JUDI HARNICK MOHR passed away peacefully on April 7th, 2019, after a long brave battle with ovarian cancer. She was 55 years young. Everywhere Judi went, she made such close and lasting friendships.
Having a family was her greatest wish, which came when she married Chris, and then when she gave birth to beautiful twins, Max and Eleanor. From that moment on they were momi/momi and dadi/dadi. Not only because they had twins, but that it meant more than the world to them both.
Judi was passionate about her family, friends, music and life. She loved live music and surrounded herself with lots of people from the music industry. Her collection of ticket stubs from decades of the best rock shows sums up the lively soundtrack of her life. Judi loved to sing and played piano as a young child and got her love of music from her talented mother Eleanor, a professional singer with the Harry James Band in the 1940s. Her father, Robert Harnick, was a successful businessman from Miami, FL.
Judi was passionately and actively involved in her community and her children's school; she adored spending time in their classrooms reading aloud to the children. Family and friends loved being with Judi, drawn to her generosity, open spirit and welcoming, positive and caring nature.
She grew up in Sayreville, NJ, and was an honor student. She attended Penn State University and graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance and Accounting. She and Chris lived the last 12 years in Monroe Township. She ran her own business for many years from her home which allowed her precious time with her beloved family ... she was always happiest at home surrounded by Chris, Max and Eleanor.
These past weeks many gathered around Judi laughing, crying, sharing stories and basking in her shining light. She laughed and loved to the very end.
As Chris stated shortly after she passed away, she's having coffee now with her Mom. Indeed.
Judi leaves behind her loving incredible husband, Chris Mohr, and their beautiful young children, Max and Eleanor, along with countless friends and family, her brother Howard Harnick, and so many cousins who loved her.

I am very saddened to hear this. Judi and I were friends when I was involved in her same religion. Once I moved to LA, we didn't have the opportunity to see each other and then I made some very big life changes. I had many fun times with her and my heart goes out to all who know and love her. Love to you Judi!!!!!!!

We are keeping you and the children in our prayers. Judi lit up a room with her joy and beautiful being. I didn’t know you well but felt like I had known her for years-because that’s what she was like an all encompassing breath of fresh air and kindness. Melissa Lenahan
