EAST BRUNSWICK - KENNETH JEROME ROSENFIELD passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020, after a long illness at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was 77.
Born in Boston, MA, he moved to East Brunswick 50 years ago.
A U.S. Navy Veteran, he served as an E-6 during the Vietnam War receiving a Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with Three Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device, National Defense Service Medal and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Cuba).
During his time in the Navy, Kenneth went to Nuclear Power School where he became a nuclear power reactor operator and electrical engineer before retiring 20 years ago.
Surviving are his loving wife and high school sweetheart, Barbara of 58 years; their son, Mark Rosenfield of East Brunswick; daughter, Bonnie Pelletier and her husband, Scott, of East Brunswick; sister, Leta Rosenfield and her partner, Denise Weber of Lincoln, CA and five grandchildren, Samuel, Alyssa, Ashley, Peri and Arin.
