MONROE TOWNSHIP - BERNARD LIBES passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at home. He was 93 years old.

Born in Newark, he resided in Colonia before relocating to Monroe Township 28 years ago.

Prior to retiring, Bernard was a salesman for Bonds in Edison.

Bernard was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II.

Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Patricia (Grover); his daughter, Melissa Mermelstein and her husband, Jay, of East Windsor; and four grandchildren, Sara, Jenna, Ian, and Brad.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2020, at 11:00 am, at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 189 Gill Lane, Iselin, under the direction of MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, East Brunswick. For directions, please visit the "Services" page.
