Marion E. Friedman passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020. She was 87.
Marion was born in the Bronx, NY, living there her entire 87 years. Marion was a true Bronxite.
She earned an Associate's Degree in Education from Bronx County Community College and worked as a Paraprofessional at PS 55 for over 30 years, finally retiring in 2005. Marion was extremely active in the Jewish War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary on all levels, as a Past Auxiliary & County President and chairs of numerous committees on the Department and National levels. This is where the nucleus of her friendships were developed and maintain up until her passing.
Marion loved her family and was so proud of her family's accomplishments. She is predeceased by her husband Nat (1984) and her parents Sam & Jean Kupperblatt. She is survived by her daughter Ilene Cutroneo and Ilene's husband Joe; grandchildren Nick & Holly Cutroneo and her great granddaughter Maddy. Marion is also survived by her brother Marv Kupperblatt & his wife Lucy: children Debbie & Rick Bogdanski and family; Audrey & Tom O'Neill; Sue & Kevin Kupperblatt and family and Gary Kupperblatt and family; her sister Rita (Alice) & her husband Jules Simon: children Jon (who cared for Marion during the times when Ilene was unable to be there) and Mike & Jessica Simon.
Graveside services were held on Thursday, September 3, 2020, under the direction of the MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, East Brunswick. Rabbi Laurence P. Malinger was the officiant.

Marion was such a special person she was like a second mom to me. I will really miss my phone calls and visits with her. I love you and Rest In Peace.
