EAST BRUNSWICK - GALINA GUZ passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She was 63.

Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, she moved to the US in 1993, and resided in Brooklyn followed by Staten Island, prior to moving to East Brunswick 1 year ago.

She was a wonderful piano player and singer, working in Russia. In America, she worked as a Medical Biller and Coder until she retired and then helped raise her twin granddaughters, Alina and Milana.

Galina was predeceased by her sister Rufina Ishimnikova in 2019, and her nephew Dmitriy Ishimnikov 2006.

She is survived by her husband, of 30 years, Yakov; daughter, Eva Kory and her husband Michael of East Brunswick; and her beloved granddaughters Alina and Milana.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020, at 10:15 at The MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
