MONROE TOWNSHIP - HOWARD ROSENSTEIN, died on Wednesday October 14, 2020, at his home. He was 86.

Born in Naumberg, Germany, in 1933, Howard was a Holocaust survivor. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1952, settling in Newark, NJ. He resided in Union and Roselle Park, before moving to Monroe Township 10 years ago.

He was a proud U.S. Army veteran, having served from 1956 to 1962.

Prior to retiring, Howard was a technician at Elm Radio & TV, Edison.

He was a member of Congregation Beit Shalom in Monroe Township.

Howard was a loving and caring man with a great sense of humor and a passion for bowling.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Evelyn Rosenstein (née Newman); his sister, Ingrid Lustbader, of Monroe Township, and 3 nephews, Dr. Jerome (Dr. Joyce) Lustbader of Demarest, NJ, and family, Ronald (Lori) Lustbader of Livingston, NJ, and their family, and Dr. David (Wendy) Lustbader of Canton, MA and their family.
