MONROE TOWNSHIP - MIRIAM GOLDBERG (née SKOLNIK) passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was 81 years old.
Born in Chicago, IL, she resided in East Brunswick, before settling in Monroe Township 12 years ago.
Prior to retiring in 2004, she was an administrative assistant for the Township of East Brunswick for nearly 30 years.
She was predeceased by her husband in 1993, Ivan Goldberg, whom she married in 1972; her son, Eric Freedman in 2007, and her brothers, Jack Skolnick, William Skolnick and Danny Hartzman.
Surviving are her sons, Stuart Freedman and his wife, Michele, of North Chesterfield. VA, and Randall Freedman and his wife, Margaret, of Easton, PA; her sister, Libby Karen Skolnik and her husband, Jerry Handel, of Coconut Creek, FL; her sister-in-law, Linda Skolnik, of Goldsboro, PA; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Rubino, Andrew Freedman, Ian Freedman, Melanie Freedman, CJ Freedman, Angela Freedman and Juliana Freedman, and one great-grandchild, Jaxon Rubino.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at 11:45 am, at Washington Cemetery, 104 Deans Rhode Hall Road, South Brunswick, under the direction of MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, East Brunswick. For directions, please visit our "Services" page.
