MONROE TOWNSHIP - ESTHER WEIL (née Zaentz) passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022, at her home. She was 95 years old.
Born in Newark, she resided in Colonia before settling in Monroe Township in 1993.
Prior to retiring she was a Teller for many years eventually being promoted to head teller. She received many awards for "stellar teller" and won a trip to the Caribbean for her excellent work ethic.
After a long and successful career, she retired and enjoyed playing canasta and poker (her true love). Esther also belonged to Hadassah and many other clubs.
Esther was predeceased by her husband, Mortimer, in 2011 and her parents, Samuel and Anna Zaentz.
Surviving are her sons, Jeffery D. Weil and his wife, Susan, of Kendall Park and Lawrence J. Weil, and his wife, Mary Theresa, of Robbinsville; her daughters, Renee Wands and her husband, Steve, of Jackson and Barbara D. Revell and her husband, Richard, of Brick; four grandchildren, Stephen A. Fafulas and his wife, Ala, Lauren S. Fortunato and her husband, Alberto, Thomas J. Weil and Alexis S. Wands, and three great-grandchildren, Jaxson Fortunato, Valentina Fortunato, and Simon Fafulas.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 12:45 pm, at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, NJ 07095, under the direction of Mt. Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Please meet at the administrative building, as we will process to the graveside together from there.
