MONROE TOWNSHIP - EDWARD MORRIS LAZARUS passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 85 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, to Nathan Frank and Esther (née Kirsch), he resided in Manhattan till 1969, Somerset till 1958, and North Brunswick till settling in Monroe Township in 2006.
Prior to retiring in 2008, he was a printer for Royal Engraving Company in Brooklyn, NY for 46 years.
He was a United States Army veteran, having served from 1956 through 1958.
Edward was predeceased by his brother Benson Lazarus.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Barbara (née Horwitz); their children, Eric of Sacramento, CA, and Jaimie Hoffman and her husband, Noel of Ossining, NY, and two grandchildren, Nate and Jared Hoffman.
A cryptside service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 10:15 am, at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Drive, Woodbridge, under the direction of MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, East Brunswick. For directions, please visit our "Services" page.
