MONROE TOWNSHIP - MYRNA HOPE KLEIN passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Allegro Assisted Living in Harrington Park. She was 86 years old.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Myrna raised her family in Spring Valley, New York, before retiring to Greenbriar in Monroe Township for 20 years, until moving to Harrington Park in 2021.

Myrna was a homemaker, who dedicated her life to raising her three sons. Upon retiring to Monroe, she became a Paraprofessional at the Applegarth Elementary School. Myrna was also involved in planning community events at Greenbriar at Whittingham.

She loved entertaining family and friends, cooking delicious soups and homemade chicken nuggets, and knitting beautiful sweaters and baby blankets. Myrna will be remembered by all for her love for bringing family together!

She is predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Barry Klein, who passed away in 2016.

Surviving are her three sons, Darren, of Montclair, Michael and wife, Stacy, of Norwood, and David and wife, Karly, of Norwood; her sister, Cecile Ruby Hirsch and husband, Ronald, of Pearl River, New York; and by her five grandchildren, Ava, Livi, Sage, Joey, and Eden.

A Cryptside service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 11:15am, at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Services are being handled under the direction of MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Please visit our "Services" page for directions.
