MONROE TOWNSHIP - HERBERT HARRIS EBER passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, at his residence. He was 79 years old.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, to Louis and Claire (née Rothbaum) Eber, he resided in East Brunswick before settling down in Monroe Township for 15 years.

In his leisure time, Herb enjoyed several activities, and was often found on the tennis court, pickleball court, golf course and softball field. He also loved travelling, cooking, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Paula Eber of Monroe Township; his sons, Scott Eber and his wife, Sharon, of East Windsor, Brian Eber and his wife, Marilyn, of Livingston and Jared Eber of Morristown and his grandchildren, Sydney, Josh, Max and Jamie.

A service will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 10:45am at Temple B'nai Shalom, 15 Fern Road East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus. For directions, please visit our "Services" page.
